Loaf Website

Intro
During my time at Loaf I designed various pages – including a redesign of the homepage and developing new landing pages for new types of product. I worked closely with an external developer and collaborated with the shoot team to achieve the high standard of design I was after.
Deliverables:
UX/UI Design
Website Design
Art Direction
Illustration
Retouching

Previously the homepage was looking a bit dated, and didn't allow the stunning photography to speak for itself. I redesigned the homepage layout to show off the styling of our products, arranging best selling products closer to the top and breaking it up with illustrated USPs.

I developed landing pages for similar products like cushions, that came in several varieties and with different options for buying in terms of colourways and sizes. The landing pages needed to provide clarity whilst encouraging purchase.

Cushions were among one of the products that provided an opportunity for upselling, in this case when a sofa was bought, cushions in complementary colours would be suggested. This feature hadn't existed before, so I matched each fabric swatch with three other swatches, and designed the web page, working with the developer to make sure it functioned properly. This was then expanded to other products like bedding when buying a mattress.

There was often a lot of info that required clarity for the customers, like colour options, product bundles or sizing. I developed a series of illustrations for each sofa, which allowed customers to see the dimensions and compare it to other sizes, with key information laid out clearly alongside.
